💗To my SISTER Aoife although you’re not a mammy yet to your own children your practically Oisíns second mammy. I couldn’t have survived the past 2 years without you. Thanks for always being there and taking your role as GODMOTHER very seriously. You are the best sister and aunty anyone could ask for. I love you.

💗To MY MOTHER IN LAW Jennette. Thank you for being there when we need you, and most of all thank you for raising a man who has become the best Dad in the world. When we got married I know you thought you were loosing a son but you didn’t you gained a daughter and now a beautiful grandson. We love you.

💗To all my new and old FRIENDS who are mothers. You know who you are. Thank you for being there and understanding how hard a job being a Mammy is. I want you all to know we are all doing our best and our best is good enough. When the going gets tough I’m always here for you.

💗To my HUSBAND Darren, although Mothers Day isn’t about Fathers without you I wouldn’t be a Mother. Thank you for sticking by me through all the hard times. It has been tough. Having a child changed a relationship but I hope you know that I love you more than I ever have. Thank you for encouraging me and telling me how good of a mother I am even when I don’t believe it. I appreciate everything you do for Oisín and I. We would be lost without you. Never change.

💗To my DAD, thank you for raising me to be the woman I am today. Thank you for always pushing me to always do my best and being there to support Mam.

To my SON Oisín. The day you were born my life changed forever. The past year has been a roller coaster. I want you to know I love you more than anything in this world. You are my reason for living. Like the song says; “You are my sunshine”! Although, the past year has been tough I wouldn’t change you for the world. However, I want to call bullsh*t on this I instant gush or bond that movies or magazines portray. It’s hard being a parent. The moment I met you I knew I loved you but it took a little longer to connect with you. It has taken time for me to accept that this is OK. I truly believe a bond has to grow. Like most relationships I just needed to get to know you. You have developed such a gorgeous personality and are becoming such a wonderful little man. I now know we have a bond like no other. The moment I felt this was the first kiss you gave me (without asking) !!! I don’t know if you will ever read this but remember always give your mama a kiss as you never know when it will be the last.
